One of the things that we have tried to do on the Internet is provide a safe haven for adults to come play. Get away from the burdens of life for a little while and escape into a world full of acronyms like DCC, LOL, OMG and BRB. Cyberspace at wholesale prices.

Our channel is a place that caters to users of video conferencing software called CUSeeMe. You can find out more about that on our FAQ page. We provide a place for users of CU to come and connect. Not on IRC... that is merely the meeting place... but on server software called reflectors. Our channel provides 2 reflectors for channel member use. Please note that you have to be a member to access our refs.

There are alot of CUSeeMe based channels out there. So why should you want to stay with us? There are lots of reasons. With membership at almost a thousand and growing each day, there are always good conversations going on in the channel and on the refs. You will not find a more helpful group of people than our ops and members. We take great pride in the fact that most of our members call #cuseemefun their "cyberhome".

#CUSeemeFUN is an Internet Relay Chat channel (IRC). Our cyberhome sits on the Undernet servers. We are a collection of human beings gathered from all across the globe. Running 24 hours a day, seven days a week, there is always something going on in our little space on the net.

Our channel started officially in May of 1996. Unofficially, we started a few years before in #cu-seemesex. Eventually, we wanted to get away from the stigma of having the word sex in the channel name. So, #CUSeeMeFUN was born.

We worked hard with many people to build membership. We have survived having multiple channels spin off of our channel. And still hold a spot in the two top CUSeeMe based channels. Our membership is rapidly approaching the one thousand member mark. And it is all due to the good people that we have as current members and channel operators.

This channel resorts to kicking/banning as true last resorts. The only REAL exception to this is when an advertising bot comes into our channel. Everyone else gets 3 chances, and sometimes a few more (depending on the infraction). As channel manager, I am always open to talk about what happened to cause any member being kicked and/or banned. To be fair, I try to listen to any arguement. We believe that each person should make their own choices, but reserve the right to choose who we hang out with. We respect the word NO. And most important of all... We do our best to have FUN!
